The Hawke Sidewinder's 30mm body encompasses a high quality optical system with ETE (Edge to Edge) coated glass. This proprietary coating provides exceptional high resolution viewing even in low light conditions.

The Sidewinder 30 lens configurations have been carefully selected to offer the optimum performance in low light conditions, while offering excellent range finding properties. The Sidewinder features a side focusing system designed to parallax from 10-yds to infinity.

By popular demand, the Sidewinder 30 is available with either a Hawke SR6 or SR12 reticle or a Mil-dot reticle that is true at 10x. The SR6 and SR12 multiple aim point reticles are compatible with the free Hawke Ballistic Reticles Calculator (BRC) program. The free BRC program and the SR series reticles take the guess work out of your long range shooting. Simply plug in your caliber, load data and the BRC program prints you out an accurate range card to match your SR reticle. Long range accuracy made easy.

The reticle illumination brightness adjustment is positioned on the side focus turret. This allows 5 red and 5 green reticle illumination settings. The settings have been carefully considered to produce low enough illumination levels for dawn and dusk as well as night shooting under a dim red light.

The open sniper style turrets are calibrated to 1/4 M.O.A per click. To adjust the turrets the whole assembly is pulled up to unlock, then once adjusted, they are securely locked into position by pushing the assembly back into the down position. The turrets are simply reset to zero by loosening a hex screw on the top. Turret adjustments allow 65 MOA of windage and 65 MOA of elevation. Once you zero your scope with your pet load, you can set the turrets to zero.

All Sidewinders come with a large 100mm side wheel, to enhance range finding, a sunshade for overly bright conditions and flip up lens covers to protect the outer lenses. Your purchase is also protected by Hawke’s worldwide warranty.
